The rice used for Doburoku is Koshihikari produced by the ‘Yu-Min Agriculture Department’. We use 100% products grown without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Doburoku is an alcoholic beverage that can only be manufactured by those who have obtained a manufacturing license in areas specially certified under the Structural Reform Special Zone Law. The basic manufacturing process is the same as that of sake, but it is unique in that only home-grown rice is used, no additives are used, and the mash is not filtered. Therefore, it has a rich aroma and taste.
